Terry Fox Run at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic School

Terry Fox faced his share of challenges when he ran nearly a marathon a day for 143 days. He challenged himself every day and never lost sight of his goal: to raise the most money he could to end cancer.   

The students, staff and volunteers at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic School helped share Terry’s message of hope, courage and determination by learning about Terry Fox through various classroom activities and we ended the week with our Terry Fox school run. As a Catholic School community, we helped with Terry’s goal of raising an awareness and money for Cancer research.
